This is the last Will and Testament of me John Bonnycastle the Elder of Weedon in the parish of Hardwick in the county of Bucks yeoman made in manner following that is to say

First I give and bequeath unto my Son John Bonnycastle the legacy or sum of fifty pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid to him by my executor hereinafter named within twelve Months next after my decease but if my said son John Bonnycastle shall happen to die before his said legacy shall become due and payable without leaving any child or children of his body lawfully begotten then and in such case I give and bequeath the said legacy or sum of Fifty pounds before bequeathed to my said son John Bonnycastle unto my daughter Mary the wife of John Ingram to be paid to my said daughter Mary by my Executor within twelve months next after my decease

Also I give and bequeath unto my son Robert Bonnycastle All and singular my household goods and Furniture and Implements of household cattle stock and stocks of corn grain and hay ready monies and securities for money and all other my goods chattels personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kindsoever the same may be To hold the same unto my said son Robert Bonnycastle his executors administrators and assigns Subject nevertheless to the payment of all my just debts legacy and funeral expences

And Lastly I do hereby make ordain constitute and appoint him my said Son Robert Bonnycastle sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former and other Wills at any time heretofore by me made and executed

Proved the 25th day of August 1781 before the revd William Stockins, Clerk Surrogate by the oath of Robert Bonnycastle the natural and lawful son and sole executor to whom adcon was committed he being first sworn duly to administer.
