This is the last will and testament of me Sarah Oliver Bonnycastle of the City of Chilliwack in the District of New Westminster and Province of British Columbia, made this First day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and Twenty-eight.

I revoke all former Wills and other Testamentary Dispositions by me at any time heretofore made, and declare this only to be and contain my last Will and Testament.

I direct all my just debts, Funeral and Testamentary expenses to be paid and satisfied by my Executors hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be after my demise.

I give, devise and bequeath all my Real and Personal Estate of which I may die possessed in the manner following, that is to say: Unto Eleanor Mary Hawkin, Maud Barwell, Lyall Rudd, George Bonnycastle, John Bonnycastle, and Thomas Bonnycastle I give the sum of one hundred dollars each, of and from the eight hundred dollar payments due from the sale of my farm to Harry Richards, said hundred dollar payments to be made to them in each year until the farm be fully paid for.

Unto Channing Brittian Hawkins I give the sum of one hundred dollars each year for ten years, out of the payments of the sale of the above farm. Said yearly payments to be placed in the Savings Account at the Bank of Montreal, the said sum and accumulated interest to be paid to him at the expiration of ten years only.

Unto Helen Bonnycastle (only child of my beloved Son Carl Channing Bonnycastle) I give the sum of Fifty Dollars each year for ten years, out of the farm payments, same to be placed in Savings Account at the Bank of Montreal, and to be paid to her with accumulated interest at the end of the tenth year.

Unto my Son in law Roland C. Barwell I give the sum of one hundred dollars, in rememberance of kindness received from him during sickness on the Prairie.

I request that my executors pay to my son George Bonnycastle the amount of money that he has given me at different times, the amounts will be found in my little black book.

Unto Murial Bonnycastle (John Bonnycastle’s eldest daughter) who used to live with me, as a little gift of rememberance, I give the sum of Fifty Dollars.

In the event of any of the heirs as herein mentioned should pass away prior to my decease, I then request that their share of my estate as herein men-tioned shall be given to their children.

All my Real Estate I give unto my Executors, to be held in trust by them, for the purpose of selling same, and the proceeds thereof to be equally divided between: Eleanor Mary Hawkins, Maud Barwell, Lyall Rudd, George Bonnycastle, John Bonnycastle, and Thomas Bonnycastle share and share alike.

All the residue of my Estate not hereinbefore disposed of I give, devise and bequeath unto my children, share and share alike.

Aan I nominate and appoint Eleanor Mary Hawkins, George Bonnycastle and Thomas Bonnycastle, to be Executors of this my last Will and Testament.
