Abstract
Born at Sees in Normandy and naturalized in England, now living at Brixton Hill, Parish of Streatham, County of Surrey
To dear wife all personal property for her to enjoy possession of during her life
- to dispose of it by sale if necessary for her comfort on condition of securing to our daughter one hundred pounds annuity on the produce of the Gentleman Magazine
- wife is universal legatee and also residuary legatee
- friend Owen Rees Bookseller at Paternoster Row joint Executor with his wife; requests Owen Rees to help wife in her transactions with her daughter
- to Mr Folson all my clothing and recommend him to my wife if she is able to assist him all my accounts with him I consent to account by a receipt in full for his board and lodging and money given to him in balance for such sum as he had paid for me before and should he not agree to that he must furnish a regular account of what he pretends due to him and balance it with what he owes me for board and lodging and money given to him Brixton Hill parish of Streatham

But in case that the Gentleman Magazine would be insufficient to pay that sum my intention is that it should be reduced to the third of it my intention being that the mother be absolutely independent of her daughter to my good friend Rees I give the best set of my books at his own choice regretting not to be able to make him a better offer. Appeared Thomas Brown of Pater Noster Row in the City of London and John Angus of the same place Gentleman who made oath that they were well acquainted with Hommey and that the will and signature are in his hand. 7 January 1832
Proved at London 7 January 1832 admon granted to Owen Rees Esquire with power reserved of making the like grant to Hephzibah Hommey widow the Relict
