[On the next line is Annie Bonnycastle but I believe it was an overuse of ditto marks and it is really Grace's mother Annie Sewell]. They were both roomers with the McDonald family.5

His wife Mary and mother-in-law Anna J Sewell were also in the household. Grace was age 45, a widow, born in Kentucky, and had no recorded occupation.7 
1930 CensusGrace S Bonnycastle appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at 9 Vista Street, enumerated 4 Apr 1930. She was 54, widowed, born in Kentucky, no recorded occupation, and lived with her brother-in-law and sister John and Mary Maxey.8 
1940 CensusGrace Bonnycastle appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at 9 Vista Street. She was living in the home of her sister and brother-in-law John and Mary Maxey. Grace was 65, a widow with 4 years of high school education, and was born in Kentucky. She had no reported income.9
