1920 CensusMargaret Vaughan appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama. She was a boarder, age 24, single, born in Alabama, parents born in Alabama, and she was a trained nurse on call working on her own account.2 
MarriageShe married Harry Lionel Bonnycastle circa 1921.3
 
Newspaper The Brownsville Herald reported on 17 Feb 1929 that
Mrs H L Bonnycastle and Mrs George E Buchanan jointly entertained at the former's home Tuesday afternoon with a Valentine bridge party. Gladiolus, fern and carnations made the lovely decorations. A delicious salad course was served.
In May, she attended an afternoon bridge party in Weslaco.4 
Newspaper There were several items in the local paper in 1930:
In March: "Mr and Mrs Rol?o Vaughan of Demopolis Alabama are in the Valley visiting their son and daughter and families, Mr and Mrs E R Vaughan and family and Mr and Mrs H L Bonnycastle and children"
In May, there was a note that "Mesdames F H Bonnycastle, ?ary Bonnycastle, and Sam Jones were in Mercedes Thursday"
In August, Mrs Bonnycastle won an attractive prize for high score at a bridge party in Elsa and in October Mrs Bonnycastle of Weslaco attended a bridge party in Elsa.5 
1930 CensusH.L. and Margaret Bonneycastle [sic] appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Precinct 7, Hidalgo County, Texas, at Mile 6 1/2, enumerated 16 Apr 1930. Harry owned his home on a farm and was one of the few households with a radio set. He was 49, first married at age 24, born in English Canada, as were his parents, and he was an alien who immigrated in 1896. Harry was a horticulturalist and was a veteran of the world war. Margaret was 34, first married at 25, born in Alabama, with parents born in Alabama. Their children Frances Margaret and Patricia Vaughan were living with them, as well as a Mexican servant and her 11 year old daughter.3 
Newspaper Published 1931. February, Mrs H L Bonnycastle of Weslaco was one of many attending "one of the loveliest social activities of the winter season, a bridge luncheon at "Charlotte's Tea Room" at Harlingen"
In March & May, Mrs H Bonnycastle attended bridge parties in Weslaco.6 
Newspaper Published 8 May 1935. "In connection with the PTA organization, home room mothers are elected for each section in high school. These mothers work with the teacher for the general welfare of the students". Mrs H L Bonnycastle was one of three serving class 6-I.7 
Newspaper Published 7 Mar 1937. Mrs E R Vaughn and Mrs Bonnycastle of Weslaco were guests of Mrs L M Flowers [of Pharr] Wednesday afternoon.8 
Newspaper Published 1942. In February, Margaret Bonnycastle of McAllen attended the monthly meeting of the Texas Graduate Nurses Association of the Rio Grande Valley. One issue discussed was purchase of national Defense bonds. In December, Margaret was named a director of the association.9 
Newspaper Published 1944. Among those registering at the July meeting of the Graduate Nurse's Association of the Rio Grande Valley in Mercedes was Mrs. H.L. Bonnycastle from McAllen.10 
DeathMargaret died on 12 Aug 1958 in McAllen, Hidalgo County, Texas.
