Research Note Find My Past has images of the City of Buffalo health department death index. There is an entry for "Mrs C Paul" in 1860. The death registration is to be found in Volume 2, Page 204. 
Research Note Searched digitized copies of the Buffalo Daily Courier online at Fulton History website, from April 5-12 and did not find a death notice. There were very few marriages or deaths.
