MarriageHe married Elizabeth Baker on 11 Jan 1845 in Wingrave, Buckinghamshire.
Details from the parish register: John was of full age, a bachelor, harnessmaker, residence Whitchurch, father John Kennings, harnessmaker; Elizabeth Monk was of full age, a widow, residence Wingrave, father Wm Baker, farmer. The witnesses were Geo Kennings and Elizth Holt[?].4 
Research Note There were no other children other than Mary for this couple in the Wingrave registers.5 
DeathJohn died before 1851.
His daughter was listed as an orphan in the 1851 census. There are two entries on the same page in the death indexes in Dec Q 1849 in Aylesbury for John Kennings and Elizabeth Kennings. There is also an entry for John Kennings in Buckingham RD in Sep 1850.6
