1911 CensusRichard and Georgina Raby appeared on the 1911 Census of Ottawa, Carleton County, Ontario, at 168 Fourth Ave, enumerated 1911. Richard was 38, born May 1873 in England, immigrated 1892, religion Anglican, and he was a Government Servant for Dominion Government, working 52 weeks at 39 hrs/wk for $2400. Georgina was 40 [sic], born in November 1871 [sic] in Ontario. With them were Georgina's children from earlier marriages: Arthur & Adeline BRUCE and Catherine & Bonycastle LACKEY.6 
(Witness) Marriage Richard S Raby witnessed the marriage of William Rogers Latimer and his stepdaughter Adeline Gladys Bruce on 17 Oct 1911 in Ottawa, Carleton County, Ontario.7 
(Informant) DeathRichard Slater Raby registered the 1911 death of his father-in-law Arthur Dale.8

The attestation papers were completed 23 March [year unreadable] and included the following information: Lieutenant Richard Slater Raby, born 8 November 1879 in Manchester England, address 93 Cameron Avenue Ottawa, next-of-kin wife Georgy Amelie Raby of same address, Civil Servant, Wesleyan Methodist, Militia membership No 5 Co CASC, former service 5 months 2nd Contingent, Divisional, Train.3 
(Widowed) DeathHis wife Georgy died on 22 Aug 1928.9 
DeathRichard died on 9 Apr 1958 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
