With them were their children Margaret (4), John (3), and Ellen (2), as well as visitor Bennett Woodcroft, and servants including a Cook, a Lady's Maid, and a Housemaid.5 
1851 CensusCooper appeared on the 1851 Census of Rusholme, Lancashire, at Rusholme Place. She was with her parents, age 33, and born in Manchester.5 
1861 CensusMrs John Graham appeared on the 1861 Census of Hampstead, Middlesex, at 8 Finchley New Road. She was married, age 43, and born in Manchester. Her daughter Margaret (14) was with her in her sister Bennet Woodcroft's household.4 
(Widowed) DeathHer husband John died on 22 Feb 1869.1,6 
1871 CensusCooper M Graham appeared on the 1871 Census of Shalford, Surrey, at Beech House. She was a widow, age 53, a Landowner, and was born in Manchester. With her were her children Margaret (24, had land in Scotland), John (23, civil engineer), and Ellen (land owner in Scotland) as well as visitor Florence Wheatson, a Groom and a Cook.7 
1881 CensusCooper M.H. Graham and her daughter Helen appeared on the 1881 Census of Brading, Isle of Wight, Hampshire, at High Street Royal Heath, Sandown. Cooper was 62, a widow, and was born in Lancashire. Her daughter Helen was unmarried, age 32, and also born in Lancashire. They had a cook and a housemaid.8 
DeathCooper died on 11 Jul 1885 in 13 Blenheim Terrace, Scarboro, Yorkshire.9,10
