(with Parents) 1851 CensusEllen [sic] appeared on the 1851 Census of Rusholme, Lancashire with her parents. She was 2 and born in Manchester.3 
(with Mother) 1871 CensusEllen appeared on the 1871 Census of Shalford, Surrey in the household of her mother. She was unmarried, age 22, was a Land owner in Scotland, and was born in Manchester.2 
1881 CensusCooper M.H. Graham and her daughter Helen appeared on the 1881 Census of Brading, Isle of Wight, Hampshire, at High Street Royal Heath, Sandown. Cooper was 62, a widow, and was born in Lancashire. Her daughter Helen was unmarried, age 32, and also born in Lancashire. They had a cook and a housemaid.4 
MarriageShe married Edwin Brough on 11 Jul 1882 in St Andrew Holborn, Middlesex.

They were married in the parish church by license and the witnesses were [Helen's brother] John Cameron Graham and Jessie Challinor[?].5,1 
Note.Edwin Brough left the silk manufacturing business and they built Wyndyates, in Yorkshire, in 1885, living there until 1910. Edwin was a premier Bloodhound breeder and built kennels on the property. Two of his hounds, Burgho and Barnaby, were famously requested by the Metropolitan Police to help track down Jack the Ripper.

An interesting description of Brough's operations is available on Google Books in the 1901 publication Some Scarborough faces, past and present: being a series of interviews reprinted from the Scarborough Magazine. The portrait of him is from this book.6 
(Admon) ProbateHelen Brough, wife of Edwin Brough, Esquire, of 13 Blenheim-terrace the sole executrix was granted administration of [her mother] Cooper Mary Hannah Boocock Graham's estate on 2 Sep 1885.7 
1891 CensusEdwin and Helen Brough appeared on the 1891 Census of Scalby, Yorkshire, at Wyndyate. Edwin was 46, a retired Silk Manufacturer, and was born in Leek, Staffs. Helen was 41 and born in Fulwood, Yorks. Their servants included a groom/kennelman, a housekeeper/cook/dairymaid, a house/parlourmaid, and a kitchen maid.8 
1901 CensusEdwin and Helen appeared on the 1901 Census of Scalby Civil Parish, Yorkshire, at Wyndyate. Edwin was 56, a Retired Silk Manufacturer, and was born in Leek, Staffordshire. Helen was 51 and born in Bennett Grange, Sheffield. Their servants included a Groom & Kennelman, a Cook, a Parlourmaid and a Kitchenmaid.9 
DeathHelen died on 4 Feb 1923 in Hastings, Sussex.10,11
 
ProbateHer estate was proved on 17 Apr 1923. Entry from the calendar:

Brough Helen of St. Helen's-lodge Hastings (wife of Edwin Brough) died 4 February 1923 Probate Lewes 17 April to the said Edwin Brough and William Henry Cremer gentlemen. Effects £327 15s. 10d.10
