They were married by banns in the Church of Scotland and the witnesses were Wm Lang & Helen McInnes.3 
1891 CensusAndrew and Helen Lang appeared on the 1891 Census of Muthill, Perthshire, at Front Street. Andrew was a retired farmer, age 46, birthplace Ardoch. Helen was 46 and also born in Ardoch. With them was Helen's mother Lillias McInnes (90, annuitant).4 
(Informant) DeathAndrew Lang registered the 1893 death of Lily Reid. He was recorded as son-in-law Andrew Lang, present at the death.5,1
