Voters' ListThomas Bonnycastle was listed in the poll book in Jul 1702 for Blaxly, cum Woodend, Foxly & Kerby, in Greens Norton Hundred, Northamptonshire. In the vote for Knights of the Shire (members of Parliament), he polled for Lord Spencer and Sir St. Andrew St. John. On May the 17th, 1705, he polled for Lord Mordant and Sir St. Andrew St. John. According to the introduction to the list, the named persons were freeholders.5

WillThomas Bonnycastle wrote a will dated 5 Sep 1728 in Blakesley, Northamptonshire. It is interesting to note that Thomas had two living sons but chose his daughter Mary, perhaps because she lived closest, to be his executor.

Burial.He was buried on 25 Sep 1728 in Blakesley. The parish register recorded him as "Thomas Bonney" and noted that an affidavit was received that he was buried in woollen. [In order to encourage the wool trade, an act was passed in 1678 making it compulsory for all corpses to be buried in a shroud made of wool, an affidavit having to be made (and recorded in the register) that this had been done.]8 
Probate On 30 Sep 1728 an inventory of Thomas' estate was given, with a total value of £4-19-00. Details are in the linked document.7
ProbateHis estate was administered on 11 Jan 1728/29 by Maria [Mary] Bonnycastle.7
