Martha Bonnycastle1

#3833, ( - 1780)

Life Events

Research Note In her will, Martha referred to cousins Hannah Shepherd and Ann Gibbs. Looking at the chart of early Bonnycastles, putting Martha in the same generation as Gibbs and Shepherd children, would make her a daughter of either Thomas & Elizabeth of Blakesly or John & Frances of Maidford. Ann Gibbs was born in 1701 which is quite early to be mentioned in a will written in 1778, so there is the possibility that Martha is not referring to first cousins.
