Details from the parish register: John was of full age, a bachelor, harnessmaker, residence Whitchurch, father John Kennings, harnessmaker; Elizabeth Monk was of full age, a widow, residence Wingrave, father Wm Baker, farmer. The witnesses were Geo Kennings and Elizth Holt[?].1 
Research Note There were no other children other than Mary for this couple in the Wingrave registers.4 
Research Note There is a Charlotte Baker Kennings birth in freebmd in Aylesbury RD; and, a death for Charlotte Kennings in Mar Q 1850 in Winslow
There is also a birth for an Emma Jane Kennings in 1847 in Winslow (found emma in 1861- she is the d/o [John's brother] George.)5 
DeathElizabeth died before 1851.
Her daughter is listed as an orphan in the 1851 census; there are two entries on the same page in Dec Q 1849 in Aylesbury for John Kennings and Elizabeth Kennings.2,5
