Information from the death certificate: Henry Beresford D Bruce, age 48, profession C.A., Anglican, cause of death Heart disease, registered by Arthur H N Bruce on 26 Oct 1896.7 
Research Note Henry's brother Arthur reported that Henry's second name was Beresford when registering Henry's death. This was probably a slip-up, as Beresford was one of their father's names.8
