Sallie was born in July 1861 in Missouri, her father in North Carolina, and her mother in Missouri. She had 3 children, all still living, and she and Meade have been married 18 years. Their children Sally Buchanan, Anne Mason Bonnycastle and William Meade were living with them, as well as two servants and Meade's mother Ann Mason Bonnycastle.3

1920 CensusWilliam Meade and Sallie McP Robinson appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, at 1244 South Fourth Street, enumerated 2 Jan 1920. William Meade was 63, born in Kentucky, and was a Financier working on his own account. Sallie was 59 and born in Missouri. They were renters.5

1930 CensusSally Robinson appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, at 1244 South Fourth Street, enumerated 2 Apr 1930. She was 69, widowed, born in Missouri, and lived with her sister Frances McPheeters. Their rent was $125 a month [high for the building] and they owned a radio set.7 
1940 CensusSally M Robinson appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, at 425 Fourth Street. Her rent was $145, the highest of all the residents at this address. She was 79, a widow, born in Missouri, lived in the same place in 1935, and had income from a source other than working. Enumerated next to her was Frances W McPheeters.8

Information from the certificate: female, white, widowed, husband William Meade Robinson, born July 6 1860 in St Louis, Missouri, age 86 years 3 months 25 days, housewife, father William McPheeters born N Carolina, mother Sally Buchanan born Ky. Cause of death was bronchopneumonia. The informant was Meade Babcock of 102 S Peterson. Burial in Cave Hill Cemetery.2
