Bride Attended by Twin at Double Ring Rites Wednesday

The old fashioned custom of exchanging wedding rings marked the Wednesday evening wedding of Jocelyn, daughter of Mr and Mrs George F Bonnycastle to Robert Foster, Jr. Rev Dr E D Braden read the service in Ryerson United Church and Mrs C Caldwell sang "For You Alone." The groom is the son of Mr and Mrs Robert Foster.

The autumn leaf shades were combined in the bride's ensemble. Her frock was a gold wool crepe featuring unpressed pleats and her pompadour hat and accessories were in the brown tones. Mrs W E Urquhart, the bride's twin sister was her matron of honor and wore a frock and turban of moss green. Miss Lois Alcock was bridesmaid in velvet, a rust tone. They carried waterfall cascades of tiny bronze and gold 'mums. Mr Urquhart was groomsman and the ushers were Messrs George Lake and Hugh Bonnycastle.

The reception was held in the York Room of Hotel Georgia. For her honeymoon in Victoria and Nanaimo, the bride changed to a dolman coat of Canadian brown squirrel. Mr and Mrs Foster will return to make their home in the Churchill Apartments, 3731 West Fourth.10
