1891 CensusCharles and Mary appeared on the 1891 Census of Pancras, London, at 68 Peckwater Street. Two Fernee families live at this address: Charles in 3 rooms and Robert in 2. At 66 Peckwater was their cousin Thomas and their sister Sarah and family. Charles was 30, employed as a Coal Porter and born in Pancras. Mary was 35 and born in Pancras. Their children were Charles (5), William (3), and George (1 month). Also there was Charles' brother-in-law John Smith (21, Telegraphic Porter, born Pancras.)3

1901 CensusMary Fernee appeared on the 1901 Census of Camden Town, St Pancras, London, at 17 Peckwater Street. She was a widow, age 44. With her was her mother Mrs Smith (widow, 74), her sons C G (15, shop assistant), W (12), G (10), and visitor A D Allen (21). All were born in Kentish Town. There was a note on the census page that 1 to 15 Peckwater Street was demolished by Midland Railway Company.6 
(Subject) Photograph Mary was in the family group photo taken at her son Charlie's wedding in 1909.
(Other) 1911 CensusMary Fernee appeared on the 1911 Census of St Pancras, London, in the household of her son Charles. She was a widow, age 54, born in Kentish Town, and had borne 3 children, all still living.7 
DeathMary died in 1937.
 
BurialShe was buried on 5 Jan 1937 in Islington Cemetery.8
