1861 CensusEmma Fernee and Joseph Willmott appeared on the 1861 Census of Harpenden, Hertfordshire, at Cofters End. Joseph was 51, a Farmer of 340 acres employing 13 men and 6 boys, and was born in Kings Walden, Herts. Emma was 46 and born in London, Middlesex. Also here were daughters Mary and Sarah and five ag labourers including a carter and a shepherd.5 
DeathEmma died on 31 Dec 1893.
The newspaper index recorded that the obituary of Emma Willmott (nee Fernee) aged 80 appeared in the 6 January 1894 edition of the Hertford & Ware Chronicle.6
