Education On 31 Aug 1896, Thomas was enrolled at in George Yard School, Tower Hamlets.His birthdate was recorded as 20 June 1891, mother Mary, address 33 Osborn Street, last school St Judes. His name was spelled Bruley, crossed out and replaced with Brewery, and the name Fernee was in brackets following his entry in the register.2
