MarriageShe married Francis Borland Parker, son of Robert Parker and Elizabeth Houghman, on 17 Jan 1866 in Hastings County, Ontario.

They were married by Alex Buchan, minister of the Presbyterian Church in connection with the Church of Scotland and the witness was [Francis' brother] Robert Parker of Stirling.8 
1871 CensusFrancis and Sarah appeared on the 1871 Census of Stirling, Hastings County, Ontario. Francis was 38 [ages supposed to be next birthday], born in Ontario, religion Church of Scotland, of Scotch origin, occupation miller. Sarah was 27, born in Ontario and also of Scotch origin. With them was Margery Parker (67, widow, born Scotland) and their two daughters, Emily (4) and Elizabeth (1).9 
1881 CensusFrancis B and Sarah Parker appeared on the 1881 Census of Stirling, Hastings County, Ontario. Francis was age 48, Scottish, born in Ontario, Presbyterian, and was an accountant. Sarah was 38 and born in Ontario. Their children were Emily (14), Bessy (12), Mabel (10), all attending school. With them was Margery Parker (widow, 76, born Scotland) and Ellen Ward (20, English, born Ontario). [Note: Marjorie's maiden name was Fidlar - she was Sarah's aunt and also the second wife of Francis' father]10 
1891 CensusFrancis B and Sarah appeared on the 1891 Census of Stirling Village, Hastings County, Ontario, enumerated 20 Apr 1891. The Parker family lived in a 12 room wood house; there was also a 2 story 7 room uninhabited brick house. Francis B was 58, born in Ontario, father born in Scotland, mother in Ontario, religion Presbyterian, and was a Div Court Clerk employing one person. Sarah was 48, born in Ontario, parents born in Scotland, and her religion was Presbyterian. Their children were Emily (23), Bessie (21), Mable (19). Also with them was Frances' widowed step mother Marjora Parker (85). They could all read and write.11 
1901 CensusFrank B and Sarah H Parker appeared on the 1901 Census of Stirling Village, Hastings County, Ontario, at Front Street. They lived in a 10 room wooden house, owned 175 acres, 10 village lots, 7 houses, 5 stores, and 6 outbuildings. Frank was 68, born Aug 24, 1832 in Ontario, of Scotch origin, Presbyterian, and was a banker. His income was not recorded. Sarah was 57 and born in Ontario. Their children were Emily A (34, bank accountant), Bessie (31), and Mabel (29).6

1911 CensusSarah Hay Parker and her unmarried daughter Emily appeared on the 1911 Census of Stirling, Hastings County, Ontario. Sarah was 67 years old and born Sept 1843 in Ontario. Emily was 43 and born January 1868 in Ontario. They were both of Scotch origin, Presbyterian, and had an occupation of "income."13 
1921 CensusSarah H Parker and her daughter Emily Parker appeared on the 1921 Census of Stirling, Hastings County, Ontario, at Front Street. Sarah owned her two room wood house. She was a widow, age 76, born in Ontario, parents born in Scotland. Emily was single, 52, born in Ontario, parents born in Ontario, no occupation. Also with them was Sarah's grandson Donald Ross (12). The family was Presbyterian. [Donald Ross' mother was Sarah Mabel, who died in 1916]14 
(Heir) WillShe was named an heir in the will of Isabella Fidlar dated 22 Jan 1925. The will included the phrase, "to my sister-in-law Sarah Parker of Stirling Ontario the sum of Eight Hundred Dollars."15 
DeathSarah died on 26 May 1934 in Front Street, Stirling, Hastings County, Ontario.
