1910 CensusWilliam and Maud Bently [sic] appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Winter Haven, Polk County, Florida, enumerated 15 Apr 1910. William was 43, born in Massachusetts as were his parents, worked on a fruit farm, and owned his home free. Maud was 37 and born in Canada. They had been married 3 years and had no children. With them was Maud's unmarried sister Cora.7 
1920 CensusMaud Bentley and Mabel Sanford appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Winter Haven, Polk County, Florida. Maud owned her home with a mortgage. She was 45, a widow, an alien who immigrated in 1906, birthplace Canada, and was a nurse. Her sister Mabel was 39, single, year of immigration unknown, birthplace Canada, no occupation.8 
(Heir) WillShe was named an heir in the will of Isabella Fidlar dated 22 Jan 1925. The will included the phrase, "to my niece Maud Bentley, now resident in Florida, the sum of Five Hundred Dollars."9 
1930 CensusSisters Frances M Bentley and Cora M Sanford appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Winter Haven, Polk County, Florida, at 210 Sixth Street SW. Frances was the head of the household and owned a house worth $5000. They owned a radio. Frances was 57, divorced, was age 32 when first married, immigrated in 1906, and was a practical nurse working on her own account. Cora was 52, single, immigrated in 1910, and had no recorded occupation. They were both born in Canada, their parents were born in Canada, and they were naturalized. They had two boarders.2 
1935 CensusC M Sandford and F M Bentley appeared on the 1935 State Census of Winter Haven, Polk County, Florida. They lived inside the city limits. CM was 57 years old, single, born in Canada, naturalized, had a grade school education and was a housekeeper. FM was 62, a widow, birthplace Canada, naturalized, high school education, and was a housekeeper.10 
1940 CensusSisters Frances M Bently and Cora M Sanford appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Winter Haven, Polk County, Florida, at 212 Sixth Street SW. They lived in the same house as in 1935, which was owned by Frances and valued at $5000. Frances was 66, divorced, had one year of high school education, born in Canada, and was a naturalized citizen. She worked 4 weeks the previous year for $60 and had other income. Cora was 62, single, 8th grade education, immigration status alien, no income.11 
(Other) 1945 CensusFrances M Bentley appeared on the 1945 State Census of Winter Haven, Polk County, Florida, with Mable and Herbert Sanford. Relationships weren't noted but Mabel was her sister and Herbert her brother. Frances was 73, born in Ontario, had a grammar school education and was a housewife.12 
DeathMaud died in Jun 1958 in Polk County, Florida.13
