MarriageRobert Graham married Janet Ferguson, daughter of Robert Ferguson and Mary Mitchell, on 22 Feb 1838 in Kilmadock, Perthshire. The marriage was also recorded 10 Feb 1838 in the parish of Dunblane - "Robt of this parish, Janet of Kilmadock parish."4,1 
1841 CensusRobt and Mrs Graham appeared on the 1841 Census of Kilmalcolm [sic], Perthshire, at West St Grahams Rd. Robert was 40, a Merchant, and born in the Perthshire. Janet was 30 and also born in the county. Their children were Thos (2) and Robt F (9 months). [Note that the 1841 census records adult ages rounded down to the nearest 5 years, does not record relationships, and only indicates whether or not the person was born in the county].5 
1851 CensusRobert and Janet appeared on the 1851 Census of Kilmadock, Perthshire, at Doune Village. Robert was 52 years old, a grocer, and was born in Dunblane. Janet was 35 and born in Doune, Perthshire. Their children were Thomas (12), Robert (10), and Jessie (6). The first two were born in Doune and Jessie in Dunblane.6 
DeathRobert died on 1 Sep 1857 in Doune, Kilmadock, Perthshire.
Details from certificate: Robert Graham, age 67, married, father Thomas Graham farmer, mother Mary McEwen married name Graham; cause of death diarrhea 6 days certified by George Wylie surgeon in Doune; buried in Doune Churchyard. The informant was Thos Graham, son, not present.2,7
