1861 CensusJanet Kinross appeared on the 1861 Census of Dunblane, Perthshire, at Bogside Cottage, Perth Road. She was 58, unmarried, formerly a farmer's daughter, birthplace Dunblane. She had one domestic servant.5 
1871 CensusJanet appeared on the 1871 Census of Dunblane, Perthshire, at Back of Town. She was 69, an annuitant, and was born in Dunblane. With her was one general servant.6
