1891 CensusJanet Kinross appeared on the 1891 Census of Glasgow, Lanarkshire, at 114 Cubie Street. Her husband and two of their sons were in at their farm in Clackmannanshire. Janet was a Dairy Provision Dealer, 37 years old, and born in Kincardine. With her were Jane (13, scholar), John (8), Kate (7) and one servant.3 
1901 CensusJohn and Janet Kinross appeared on the 1901 Census of Stirling, Stirlingshire, at Abbey Hood House. John was a farmer, age 62, born in Spittalton, Kincardine. Janet was 46 and born in Baad [sic], Perthshire. With them were their children Jean (23), Thomas (21, grain merchant), Peter (20), Kate (18), and John (17).4
