1911 Census | Several of the Smith family appeared on the 1911 Census of Winnipeg, Manitoba, at 767 Winnipeg Avenue. The image is very difficult to read. Agnes (47, born March 1864) was listed as the head of the household, followed by her sisters Isabella (50, Sept 1861) and Christina (49?, Dec? 1862). Recorded as lodgers were their brother James (3-, Aug 1880 [sic]) and his wife Mary (28, Nov 1882). All were born in Ontario and Presbyterian. The sisters were retired, James was a nursesen--- , and Mary was a teacher. There were also four other lodgers (three nurses and a stenographer.)5 |
