MarriageJohn Boyd married Anne Bell on 1 Dec 1864 in Bruce County, Ontario.
Information from index: John, 26, residence Bruce County, father Angus, mother Jason Cake [sic, but probably Susan Kaake]; Anne Bell, 21, residence Saugeen Township, father John, mother Anne Dease.3 
DeathJohn died on 23 Oct 1868 in Ontario of injuries from a falling tree.2 
BurialHe was buried in Queen Hill Cemetery, Bruce Township, Bruce County, Ontario. The gravestone reads: aged 29 yrs 3 ms 18 ds [on gravestone w/wf Isabella].2 
NoteJohn and Ann had three sons, John c1863, Angus c1866, and Felise c1867 [names as recorded in the 1871 census but the 3rd son was named Robert] before John died. After John's death, Ann married Arsene Charlebois and moved to Quebec where they can be found in the 1871 census. The Charlebois family subsequently moved to Washington state.
