Julia was 29 and born in Bristol. Their children were Mark (7, scholar), Edward (5, scholar), Julia (2) and Jessie (10 months.)2 
1901 CensusMark and Julia Wright appeared on the 1901 Census of Clapham CP, London, at 6 Pensbury Terrace. Mark was 37, worked as a Potter, and was born in Lambeth, London. Julia was 38 and born in Bristol. Their children were Mark (17, solicitors clerk), Edward (15, railway checker), Julia (12), Jessie (10), Elizabeth (7), Elizabeth (7), Ellen (5), and Florence (3.)3

They had been married 28 years and Julia had borne 7 children, all of whom still lived with them: Edward (25, tramway worker), Julia (22, tailoress), Jessie (20, assistant), Elizabeth (17, school), Ellen (15, school), Florence (13, school). Also with them was Julia's widowed mother, Mary Ann Jones. Their home had 8 rooms.4
