He then was a commercial traveler for two years, first headquartered in Saint Louis, then Cincinnati. The next 9 years he traveled for the Standard Oil Company and by 1911 and ended up in Lexington.8,9,10

Alice was 35, the mother of 2 children, was born in Texas, father born in England, mother in Louisiana. Their children Eleanor Augustus and Harriet Everett were with them.12

Alice A was 42, born in Texas, father born in England, and mother in Louisiana. Their children Eleanor Augustus and Harriet Everett were living with them, as well as Alice's sister Edna Augustus.14 
DeathJohn died on 29 Jan 1925 in Caddo Parish, Louisiana.1
