Henry was 37, born in Kentucky, father born in Virginia, mother in Kentucky, and he rented his home. Marie was 28, born in Kentucky, father born in Alabama, mother in Kentucky, and she was the mother of two children. Henry and Marie had been married 4 years. Their children Jane and Harriet were listed as living with them, along with a servant Minnie Morgan (30, married, mulatto, born Michigan.)2

He was 47, born in Kentucky, and was an officer in the U.S. Army. Marie was 37 and born in Kentucky. Their children Jane, Harriet and Barbara were living with them.6

Society Events - "Associates Honor Col Bonnycastle"
To show their esteem for Col. Harry C. Bonnycastle, depot quartermaster here, the personnel in the office of the quartermaster supply depot invited Mrs. Bonnycastle to the office Tuesday, and in the presence of Col. Bonnycastle and their two daughters, presented her a handsome silver service. War Department orders issued this week transferred Col. Bonnycastle to Philadelphia as assistant in the commanding officer of the quartermaster intermediate depot there. His home is at 1659 Harvard Street northwest.8
 
1930 CensusHenry and Marie Bonnycastle appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Brookline, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, at 12 Warwick Road, enumerated 17 Apr 1930. They rented their home for $127.50 a month [that was a typical rent for the area] and owned a radio. Henry was 57, first married at 32, born in Kentucky, and was a Colonel in the U.S. Army and a veteran of the World War. Marie was 48, first married at 24, and was born in Kentucky. Their daughter Barbara was listed as living with them, as well as one house servant.9 
Passenger List On 31 Aug 1931, Mrs H.C. and Barbara Bonnycastle were on the Yarmouth from Yarmouth Nova Scotia to Boston. On a different page was Mr H Bonnycastle.10 
1940 CensusMarie Bonnycastle, her daughter Harriet B Butts and her granddaughter Louise B Butts appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Washington, DC. Marie was 60, widowed, had 4 years of high school education, and was born in Kentucky. Harriet was 30, divorced, 4 years of high school, and was born in Montana. She worked full time as an appointment clerk, earning $2000 but I can't decipher where. Louise was 12, finished 5 years of school and was born in Pennsylvania. In 1935, they all lived in Washington.11 
(Mentioned) NewspaperMarie was mentioned in the newspaper story about Harold James Eads and Louise Bonnycastle Butts, as it was noted that their wedding was held at the home of Louise's grandmother, Mrs. Henry Churchill Bonnycastle.12

On Wednesday, May 18, 1966, at Suburban Hospital, Marie K. Bonnycastle, wife of the late Col. Henry C. Bonnycastle, mother of Mrs. A.H. Bender of El Paso, Tex; Mrs. Robert W. Beall of Bethesda, Md., and Mrs. Frank G. Erskine of Arlington, Va. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Sister of Mrs. Marvin H. McIntyre. Friends may call at Joseph Gawler’s Sons, Wisconsin ave, at harrison st. nw after 12 noon Saturday. Services will be held at Ft. Myer Chapel on Monday, May 23, at 10 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery.4
