Witnesses were H.O. ? & J C Bell.1 
1871 CensusJohn and Rose Adair appeared on the 1871 Census of Seymour Township, Northumberland County, Ontario, enumerated 2 Apr 1871. John was 31, born in Ireland, religion Church of England, Irish origin, and a Merchant. Rose was 23, born in Ontario, and of English origin. Their daughter Anna Lyall was listed as living with them.5

1881 CensusRose Adair and her daughter Anna appeared on the 1881 Census of Campbellford, Northumberland County, Ontario, enumerated 4 Apr 1881. Rose was a widow, age 32, religion Church of England, and born in Ontario. Anna was 10 and born in Ontario.8 
Note.Rose's daughter Anna moved west to British Columbia c1894 but we know nothing yet about Rose after the 1881 census.
