John was 29, born September 14 1871 in rural Ontario, of Scotch origin, Presbyterian, and was a Printer working 12 months for $430. Mable was 23, born June 4 1877 in Ontario, of English origin, and Anglican. They lived in a leased 6 room wood house on one lot with one outbuilding. Their daughter Dorothy Grace was listed as living with them, as well as a German butcher who was lodging with them.7 
1911 CensusJohn and Mabel Hamilton appeared on the 1911 Census of Renfrew, Renfrew County, Ontario, at Hall Street, enumerated 8 Jun 1911. John was age 38, born in Sept 1872 [sic] in Ontario, of Scotch origin, and worked as a Timekeeper for the CPR. He worked 52 weeks at 60 hours per week for $800 and held $1000 worth of life insurance. Mabel was 33, born in June 1877 in Ontario and was of English origin. With them was their 12-year old daughter Dorothy. The family was Presbyterian.8

BurialShe was buried in Christ Church Anglican Cemetery, Campbellford, Ontario. Shares headstone or plot with her father and husband.9
