Research Note The source of Jean's middle name is her marriage registration, where it is spelled Lylle. However, Lyall is a family name so I have spelled it that way. Ann Lyall was Jean's great great grandmother.

She was 5 ft 2 inches tall, fair complexion, brown hair, and blue eyes.
They were in the US for a 3 day transit from visiting Barry's family in Grand Forks to their home at 1901 Sussex in Burnaby. They had been in the US once before - for one day to Boundary Bay.4
