1851 CensusMary Godart and William Murrell appeared on the 1851 Census of St George Hanover Square, Middlesex, at 6 Grosvenor Row, enumerated 30 Mar 1851. William was 26, a China Dealer, and was born in Chelsea, Middlesex. Mary was 25 and born in Pentonville, Middlesex. Their daughter Mary Elizabeth was living with them, as well as William's sister Ann Murrell, 39.3 
1861 CensusMary Godart and William Murrell appeared on the 1861 Census of Chelsea, Middlesex, at 31 George Street. William was age 35, a gas fitter employing 2 men and 3 boys, and was born in Chelsea. Mary was 34 and born in Pentonville. Their children Mary Elizabeth, William Arthur, John, Rose, George, Herbert and Thomas were with them, as well as one servant.5 
1871 CensusMary Godart and William Murrell appeared on the 1871 Census of Chelsea, Middlesex, at 21 Flood Street. William was 45, a Smith & Gasfitter, and born in Chelsea. Mary was 44 and born in Pentonville. Their children Mary Elizabeth, William Arthur, John, Rose, George, Peter, Henry and Catharine were living with them.6 
1881 CensusMary Godart and William Murrell appeared on the 1881 Census of Chelsea, Middlesex, at 21 Flood Street. William was 54, a Smith & Gas Engineer, and was born in Chelsea, Mdx. Mary was 53 and born in Pentonville. Their children William Arthur, Annie, Mary Elizabeth and Peter were living with them.7

(Admon) ProbateMary Murrell of 21 Flood-street, widow the relict, was granted administration of William Murrell's estate on 29 Aug 1882. His personal estate was worth £1,792 15s. 1d.9 
1891 CensusMary Murrell appeared on the 1891 Census of Chelsea, London, at 36 Whiteheads Grove. The family lived in four rooms and there was another family at this same address. Mary was a widow, 64 years old, and was born in Clerkenwell, London. With her were her children William (39, imbecile from childhood), Annie (26), Peter (25, smith & gas hot water engineer), and Haney (23, gas fitter.)10 
1901 CensusMary appeared on the 1901 Census of Birchington, Kent, at Seapoint House, Berkeley Road. She was a widow, age 74, living on her own means, and was born in London. With her were her unmarried children William (49) and Catherine (30), and granddaughter Annie Murrell (17.)11 
DeathMary died in Sep 1902.8
 
BurialShe was buried on 27 Sep 1902 in Brompton Cemetery.8
