BaptismCaroline Leete was baptized on 11 Apr 1813 in All Saints, Hertford, Hertfordshire, the daughter of Samuel & Charlotte.2 
NoteShe Caroline married Thomas Prizeman in St Pancras Old Church 15 Aug 1836. They had three children baptized in St John the Baptist, Shoreditch: Elizabeth Katharine (1838), Caroline Martha (1840), and Charlotte (1842). A fourth daughter Fanny (c1847) is in the 1851 census. There is a death index entry for Thomas James Prizeman Sep Q 1848 in St Saviour RD.2 
MarriageShe married Thomas Fernee, son of Anthony Fernee and Susannah Hipwell, on 7 Jul 1850 in St James Clerkenwell, Middlesex.
The marriage register in St Pancras was partially completed on 30 June 1850 with the notation, "These parties were not married as they did not live in the Parish". Thomas and Caroline gave their residences as Cross Street in Hoxton
However the Clerkenwell register did record the marriage: Thomas Fernee, of full age, bachelor, grocer, residence Sarah Place, father Anthony Fernee, bricklayer; Caroline Prizeman, full age, widow, 3 Guildford Street, father Samuel Leete, hatter; They were married by licence and the witnesses were Philip Webster and Charlotte Maria Webster.3 
1851 CensusCaroline Leete and Thomas Fernee appeared on the 1851 Census of Shoreditch, Middlesex, at Cross Street, enumerated 30 Mar 1851. Thomas was 31, a Grocer, and was born in Highgate. Caroline was 37 and born in Hertford. With them were children Elizabeth 12, Caroline 11, Charlotte 9, and Fanny 4, all surnamed Prizeman. Their daughter Susannah Frances was also there.4 
Note.On 13 June 1855, Thomas & Caroline's children Susannah Frances, Thomas Prizeman, and Edward Spencer were all baptised. On the same day Caroline's daughters from her previous marriage, Alice and Fanny, were also baptised. 
DeathCaroline died on 2 Mar 1860 in Hoxton, Middlesex.5
 
ObituaryHer obituary was published on 12 Mar 1860 in the London Times.
On the 2d inst., at 12, Cross-street, Hoxton New-town, Mrs. Caroline Fernee, in her 45th year, of bronchitis, wife of Thomas Fernee, grocer.5
