1881 CensusShe and Lucy Fernee appeared on the 1881 Census of St Giles in the Fields, London, at 16 Caroline Street. They were servants in the home of an architect with two children. Lucy, 23, was the Parlor maid and Mary, 19, was a Nurse. They were both born in Highgate.3

Mary was 39 and born in Hornsey. Their children were Alice (22), Henry (21, general labourer), Fred (19, printer), Herbert (17, printer), Joseph (15, journeyman baker), Ellen (13), Edwin (10), Grace (9), Esther (4), and George (11 months.)6 
DeathMary died in 1906.7
