BirthStephen Peet was born circa 1819 in Middlesex.2

MarriageHe married Ann Fernee, daughter of John Fernee and Mary Mullings, on 23 Feb 1841 in St Mary Islington, Middlesex.
Information from the register: Stephen Peet, of full age, bachelor, cowkeeper, residence 5 Crescent Mews North, father Edward Peet, cowkeeper;
Ann Fernee, minor, spinster, Highgate, father John Fernee, cowkeeper;
They were married after banns and the witnesses were John Charles Wamsley and [Ann's sister] Sarah Wamsley.1
1841 CensusStephen Peet appeared on the 1841 Census of St Pancras, Middlesex, at Collumpton Place, No 5. He was 22, a cow keeper, and born in Middlesex. Stephen was with the Stephen Davy family. Have not found Ann in the 1841 census, although there is a likely entry in Highgate, Hornsey if she is with her mother-in-law - a Peat family with Betsy? (female, 43), Ann 19, Thos 20, Emma 15. The 1841 did not record exact birthplaces, relationships, or marital status.. Note that the 1841 census records ages rounded down to the nearest 5 years, does not record relationships, and only indicates whether or not the person was born in the county.2
1851 CensusSteven and Sarah [sic] Peet were lodgers on the 1851 Census of Kentish Town, St Pancras, Middlesex, at No 6 Castle Place. Steven was 30 and a contractor. Sarah was 30. They had one child, Steven, age 2. They were all born in Kentish Town. [Despite the incorrect names, I do think this is Stephen & Ann and their son Edwin. This is the address given at their daughter Louisa Ann's baptism in June 1851]3
DeathStephen died in 1857.4

BurialHe was buried on 13 May 1857 in St James St Pancras, Middlesex. He was 38 years old, abode Mansfield Place, Kentish Town.5
Research Note There was another Stephen Peet living in Kentish Town. His wife also was a widow in the 1861 census. However, I think this burial is for this Stephen as the age is a closer match.
Residence Stephen and Ann lived at the following addresses, according to parish records:
1842 Highgate
1843 Highgate (Mary bapt & burial)
& 44 Montevideo Place, Kentish Town
1846 Kentish Town; Church Street (Francis burial)
