There was an affidavit dated 16 April 1932 from his sister Blanche McIntyre of Raven Village, Red Deer, Alberta stating, "I was at home in Owen Sound at the time. That both parents of the said person are dead; that I am the older sister of such person; that I am fourteen years his senior in age; that, at the time of his birth, I was present in the house in which he was born and have a distinct recollection of the occurrence of the said birth."1,2

Albert was 32, born in Ontario, parents born in Ontario, occupation Pre-Emptor working on his own account. Mary was 25, born in USA, parents born in USA, immigrated in 1911, of Dutch origin. They had one child, Evelyn (age 1, born in Alberta).10 
Item. On 16 April 1932 an affidavit attesting to his birth was sworn by sister Blanche McIntyre who lived in Raven, Red Deer, Alberta.1 
Note.On 19 September 1934, their niece Edith Lucy Hemstreet was married at the home of Mr & Mrs A K Hemstreet of Walcott, BC.11 
Note.In the 1941 British Columbia election, Albert Kenzie Hemstreet was the Conservative candidate for Omineca. The seat was won by the Liberal incumbent.12 
Residence-Moved They moved with their youngest daughter to Sannichton, near Victoria on Vancouver Island in late summer 1947.13

BurialHe was buried on 20 Nov 1972 in Hatley Memorial Gardens, Colwood, British Columbia.14
