Blum - John Frank 1932 - 2002 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of John on Thursday, December 5, 2002 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. John was predeceased by his first wife, Mae Blum in 1994; his father John Blum in 1985; his mother Magdelena Blum in 1978; infant grandson William Banilevic in 1982, infant grandson Jordan Banilevic in 1988; brothers-in-law Orval Rennie in 2001 and Ray Jackson in 2001. John is survived by his second wife, Pat Blum, two loving daughters: Sharon (Bill) Banilevic, Laurie (Darcy) Brennan of Spruce Grove, AB; three loving granddaughters, Amy and Melissa Brennan and Kimberly Banilevic; brother Nick (Edna) Blum of Saskatoon; two sisters Kay Jackson and family of Sutton, ON, Elsie (Cliff) Nichols and family of Saskatoon; and one sister-in-law Milda Rennie and family of Regina. A special thank you and acknowledgement goes to his wonderful circle of friends for all their love and support during this journey. A private family service will be held. If friends so wish, they may donate in memory of John Blum to the William Booth Special Care Home, 50 Angus Road, Regina S4R 8P6 or the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina S4T 1A5. Arrangements in care of Speers Funeral Chapel and Crematorium Services.3
