Mrs. Thomas Graham

A resident of the Capital for the past 20 years, Mrs. Thomas Graham passed away at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. A.R. Macnab, 292 Frank street, yesterday. She had been in failing health for some time.

The former Elizabeth Sibbitt, she was born at Carleton Place, a daughter of the late Alex Sibbitt and his wife, Mary Morphy. She married Thomas Graham of Ottawa in Carleton Place in 1895. He predeceased her by 40 years. The late Mrs. Graham was a member of the Presbyterian church at Carleton Place.

Surviving in addition to her daughter are three brothers, C Edgar and Robert A, both of Ottawa, and G Gilbert of Toronto; three sisters, Mrs J S Montgomery of Ottawa and Mrs A A Grieser and Mrs Charlotte Dowling in the United States.

The body is resting at the Hulse and Playfair funeral home, 315 McLeod street, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 2 p.m. Rev. Dr. Robert Johnston will conduct the service and burial will be in Crams cemetery, Carleton Place.8

The place of interment was recorded as 'taken away'. The informant was Mrs A R Macnab.7
