1841 CensusJames McNicol and Mary Kinross appeared on the 1841 Census of Muthill, Perthshire, at Gunnocks. James was 75, a Farmer, and born in the county. Mary was 60 and also born in the county. Their children Margaret and John were living with them, as well as two male servants. Note that the 1841 census records ages rounded down to the nearest 5 years, does not record relationships, and only indicates whether or not the person was born in the county.3 
DeathJames died on 28 May 1844.4
