(Heir) WillIsabel Kinross was named an heir in the will of William Kinross dated 4 Jun 1840. His children were each bequeathed a share of the residue of the estate. Daughter Isobel Bryce or Kinross, wife of Peter Bryce, Victualler in Glasgow, had already been paid £100 of her legacy, which was for the behoof of her children William & Agnes.3 
1841 CensusPeter and Isabella Bryce appeared on the 1841 Census of Milton, Barony, Lanarkshire, at Clyde Street. Peter was age 40, a victualler, not born in Lanarkshire. Isabella was 40 and also not born in the county. The household included children William (10) and Agnes (5), a female servant and a mason apprentice.5 
1851 CensusIsabella K Bryce appeared on the 1851 Census of Barony, Lanarkshire, at 31 Clyde Street. Isabella K was the head of household, age 55, a House Proprietor, and born in Dunblane. She had two children, William (general commission agent) and Agnes (16, scholar). Also in the household were one servant and a visitor, Margaret Dawson (66, fund holder, born Dunblane)[perhaps her aunt?].6 
DeathIsabel died on 3 Oct 1857 in 3 West Princes Street, Glasgow, Lanarkshire.
Information from registration: Isabel Bryce, widow of grain merchant, died 1h 15m P.M. of dysentery chronic about 8 weeks, age 62, father William Kinross farmer (deceased), mother Agnes maiden surname Dawson (decd), buried at Necropolis, Glasgow; informant was William Bryce, son, 3 West Princes, present.2
