1841 CensusWalter Lennox, Senior, and his wife Agnes Graham appeared on the 1841 Census of Dunblane, Perthshire, at Gateside [of Glassingale]. Walter was 70, a farmer, born in Perthshire. Agnes was 64 and also born in the county. With them were Walter (40), 2 agricultural labourers, and 3 female servants.4 
Note.A Walter Lennox, Glassingale, was elected Elder of the UP Session in 1842 [don't know if it refers to the father or the son].5 
1851 CensusWalter and Agnes Lennox appeared on the 1851 Census of Dunblane, Perthshire, at Glassingale Farm. Walter was 80 years old, born in Dunblane, and a farmer of 320 acres employing 4 labourers. Agnes was 77 and born in Dunblane. They had one son at home, Matthew (42), a visitor (Ann Stirling, 17), four farm labourers and one house servant.6 
DeathWalter died on 25 May 1855 in Glassingall, Dunblane, Perthshire.
