Also recorded 3 Dec 1865 in St Ninians parish register where the bride's forename was recorded as just 'Ann.5
Research Note I decided this was the same Ann Lennox by children's names (first daughter Ann, second son Colin) and she was born in Dunblane according to census records. 
1871 CensusWilliam and Ann appeared on the 1871 Census of St Ninians, Stirlingshire, at Glasgow Road. William was 28, a nail maker, and born in St Ninians. Ann was 26 and born in Dunblane. Their children were Margary (5), Jane (1), and Margret (8 months).6 
1881 CensusWilliam and Ann appeared on the 1881 Census of St Ninians, Stirlingshire, at Whins of Milton. William was 38, nailer, born in St Ninians. Ann was 36 and born in Dunblane. Their children were Jane (11), Margaret (10), Agnes (8), Peter (7), Colin (5), Jessie (3), and William (1). The first four were scholars.7 
1891 CensusWilliam and Ann appeared on the 1891 Census of St Ninians, Stirlingshire, at Whins of Milton. William was a weaver, 48 years old and born in St Ninians. Ann was 45 and born in Dunblane. Their children were Margaret (20, tenter), Agnes (18, servant), Colin (15, clerk), Jessie (13, machinist), William (11, scholar), James (9, scholar), John (7, scholar), Ann (6, scholar), and Walterina (2).8 
1901 CensusWilliam and Anne appeared on the 1901 Census of St Ninians, Stirlingshire, at Barnsdale House. William was a nail maker, age 58, birthplace St Ninians. Anne was 56, birthplace Dunblane. Their children at home were Colin (25. merchants clerk), Jessie (23, laundress), William (21, plumber), James (19, joiner), John (17, f--sher), and Ann (16, laundress). At the same address but enumerated separately were Jane (31, laundress) and Walterina (14, domestic servant).9
