ImmigrationAccording to information on her death certificate, Kati immigrated to British Columbia in 1896.2 
1900 CensusHenry and Katy Kolthammer appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Seattle, King County, Washington, at 2449 Atlantic Street, enumerated 13 Jun 1900. Henry was age 51, born in May 1849 in Germany, parents born in Germany, worked as a Cigar Maker and was naturalized. Katy was 31, born in June 1868 in Germany, parents born in Germany, and was the mother of one child. They had been married 17 years, both immigrated in 1882 and had been in the U.S. for 18 years. They owned their home free. With them was their 10 year old son Hugho.3 
Note.Kati's husband and son were enumerated in the 1911 census in Vancouver, British Columbia but Kati wasn't with them. 
WillKatherine Hamn wrote a will dated 10 Oct 1917. Kate Kolthammer, Trinity Street, Vancouver (wife of Henry Kolthammer Cigar Maker), named husband Henry sole executor and heir.5 
1921 CensusHenry and Kate Kolthammer appeared on the 1921 Census of Vancouver, British Columbia, at 2560 Trinity Street. They owned their home which was constructed of wood. They occupied six rooms. Henry was 72, born in Denmark, parents born in Denmark, occupation "income". Kate was 63, born in Germany, parents born in Germany. They both immigrated in 1901 and Henry was naturalized in 1906. Their religion was Lutheran.6 
DeathKatherine died on 2 Apr 1928 in 1245 East 27th Ave, South Vancouver, British Columbia.
Information from certificate: Kati Kolthanner [sic], residence 1245 - 27th Ave East, South Vancouver, German origin, married, born in Germany on June 22, 1858, age 69 years 9 months 11 days. She had lived at place of death 2 years, and in BC & Canada 32 years. Father Philip Hamn and mother not known, both born in Germany. The informant was her husband Henry Kolthanner. Cremation.2 
ObituaryHer obituary was published on 3 Apr 1928.
April 2, 1928 at her residence, 1245 27th Ave East, Kati beloved wife of Henry, in her 70th year. Survived by her husband and one son Harry. Service in the chapel of Mt Pleasant Undertaking Co, Apr 4 at 1:30. Cremation. No flowers.7
