[That was a good amount compared to others living nearby]. Gladys was 26, had two years of high school, and was born in Michigan. Their children were Shirley (9), Paul (6), Robert (3), and Michael (1). With them were Ira's father Charles (73) and Gladys' brother Harry Durnell. They lived in the same place, but not the same house, in 1935.6 |
