At home were Geo (23, coal miner out of work 6 months), Wm (21, coal miner out of work 4 months), John (17), Rudolph (14, at school), and Louisa (8, at school).2 
1920 CensusJohn W and Eliza B Stahlheber appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Pinckneyville, Perry County, Illinois, enumerated 12 Jan 1920. They owned their home free and could read and write. John was 78, born in Pennsylvania, no occupation. Eliza was 65 and born in Illinois. With them was their son George (42, single, coal miner) and their grandchildren Fred (8) and Mable (5) Larowe.6 
DeathJohn died on 24 Feb 1925 in Pinckneyville, Perry County, Illinois.
