SMART Bert, of Saskatoon, formerly of Watson, died on August 25th at the age of 92. He was predeceased by his wife Mildred and sister Mabel. Bert is survived by his sister Ellen and his brother Ted. He will be missed and lovingly remembered by his son Bill and daughter Sally. A special thank you to Jean and Daryl Gourley; Twyla and Les Widdifield; Gerry and Homer Gourley and Joan Laewetz for their assistance and support. Bert was a resident of Veterans Village, Sherbrooke Community Centre for the past year and a half. Thank you to the people who cared for him with affection, humor and compassion. A private graveside interment was held at Watson Cemetery on Saturday, August 28th. Arrangements entrusted to Sue Panattoni Mourning Glory Funeral Services.9
