Welcome to the family history website about my grandmother's forebears who lived in the 1800s in the area now enveloped by London in England. Her grandparents' surnames were Wright, Cox, Smart, and Fernee. The first three names were very common and therefore a challenge to trace in such a populous area. In contrast, Fernee is uncommon and virtually all of them in London belong to the same family. See my Fernee & Godart website for further details about the Fernee branch of the family.
