Obituary | His obituary was published on 20 May 1970 in the Calgary Herald. MILLER - May 18th, 1970 James Kinross S. Miller, aged 79 years, beloved husband of Mrs Elizabeth Miller, Central Park Lodge. Besides his loving wife he is survived by a son, James Miller, Montreal, Que; 2 daughters, Mrs. E.D. Knowles, Calgary, and Mrs. H. J. Grey, Vancouver, B.C; a sister, Mrs. O. J. Waterman, Saskatoon, Sask; six grandchildren. Born in Braco, Scotland, Mr Miller had lived in Calgary since 1920. He was an accountant and auditor by profession. He was a past president and director, and latterly an honorary life member of the Glencoe Club. Services conducted by Rev. Dr. R. H. MacKinnon were held in "Park Memorial Chapel" to-day at 10.30 a.m. Interment Mountain View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.4 |
